I met his music when I saw Disney's "Aladdin" on video (right) for the first time in 1994. And especially the theme song was so wonderful and impressive! I've been captivated by his sense of music ever since then.

In 2000, when I came to think of creating this website, I thought something reminding me of that memory would be suitable for the title. And "A Whole New World" is also such a special tune for Alan Menken himself, that it made one of his dreams come true: a No. 1 in the US hit chart!

I hope you enjoy this website devoted to his music and the information available here could be helpful to all of you, Alan Menken fans! And any question, any info about the greatest composer in the world, Alan Menken, would be welcome and appreciated!
